Photo Gallery
It is with a large measure of joy and gratitude that we share these photos of the El Moore. These images document the new life that has been brought to one of Detroit’s historic landmark neighborhood buildings. This architectural gem sat vacant for over 15 years. But now after a loving sustainable renovation lasting over two years, it is welcoming guests from around the world to the El Moore Lodge and is also home to our wonderful community of residents who serve as ambassadors to our great city.
It’s with deep appreciation that we thank all the workers who shared their skill, passion and commitment with us in transforming this 1898 abandoned apartment building into a living demonstration center for sustainable urban living and lodging. Your work is amazing and it will be enjoyed for the next 100 years!
