When did the El Moore Lodge open?
What is the maximum number of guests allowed per room?
Our rates are based on double occupancy in our rooms, so we can only accommodate up to two guests in most rooms. However, the Starlight and Twilight Rooftop Cabins can both sleep up to four guests between a King sized bed and Queen sized pull-out sofa bed. To account for the cost of linens and breakfast service for additional guests, we charge a $20/night fee for use of the pull-out bed.
At least one guest per room must be 18 years of age or older.
Are minors allowed at the El Moore?
All kids are of course welcome. However, they must be accompanied by an adult 18 years old and over on the property and inside the Lodge at all times. We regret that we are unable to provide rollaway beds or cribs at this time.
Do I have to leave a deposit to reserve a room at the El Moore?
Yes. We ask that a deposit in the amount of 50% of the total reservation be made at booking. The remainder is due at check-in.
What time do I have to check in? Is there a late check-in option?
Staff will be on site to help you check-in beginning at 3pm on the date of your arrival and until 7pm, as we are a small inn. If your travel plans will not allow you to arrive during these hours, please contact us prior to making a reservation so that we can discuss the possibility of a late check-in.
What time do I have to check-out? Is there a late check-out option?
Guests must check out by 11am on their departure date. Please help us ensure that incoming guests can check into their accommodations without delay by checking out on time. At the moment, we cannot accommodate late check-outs.
I have to cancel my reservation. How do I go about canceling? Can I get a refund?
A small lodge such as ours is greatly affected by cancellations and we ask for your understanding and consideration of our policy. If you need to cancel your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible. Please be aware that if you cancel with:
7 days notice or more: 100% of your booking deposit will be refunded to you.
Fewer than 7 days notice: Your booking deposit will be retained, but the balance will not be charged.
Fewer than 2 days notice: Your booking deposit will be retained and the balance for the reservation will be charged.
Guests are highly encouraged to purchase traveler’s insurance to help mitigate losses in the event of an emergency cancellation.
I’m traveling by car. Where can I park?
The El Moore Lodge has secure, gated parking available for guests. Parking is complimentary during your stay.
Does the El Moore Lodge serve breakfast?
Our parlor coffee bar offers guests just enough to get their day moving. Coffee, tea, fruit and pastries are offered daily from 8-10am.
Can I smoke at the Lodge?
The El Moore is a non-smoking establishment and there is no smoking allowed in the lodge public spaces, lodge rooms or on the property.
I have a dog. Can I bring my dog along?
With the exception of service dogs, guests are not permitted to bring pets to the El Moore Lodge. We are very lucky to have a wonderful dog daycare, Canine to Five, within a few blocks of our lodge. They may be a great option for you if you are traveling with a pet.
Are cribs or rollaway beds available at the Lodge?
We’re sorry, but we do not provide cribs or rollaway beds. The Twilight and Starlight Rooftop Cabins both have Queen sized pull-out sofa beds.
Does the El Moore offer an airport shuttle service?
The El Moore does not offer its own shuttle service. However, we recommend SKOOT, a local airport shuttle service.
Does the El Moore Lodge offer internet service?
Complimentary wi-fi is available to guests throughout the El Moore.
Does the El Moore Lodge offer any event space available to guests or the public?
We do not offer space for public or guest events.
